We have an 8GB Silver Mini, currently for sale on eBay. The new Seagate 8GB drive affords more space relative up to 4000 songs or data equivalent. Thought I would open this thread for all to see. We sold a pink 8GB Mini iPod two weeks ago. Price on the Silver 8GB Mini iPod is currently $275. We have to use the retail hard drive - priced at $140.00. The Mini comes with USB/Firewire Combo, AC Adapter, Case and software.

True, but you are paying extra for the compactness, same as with a nano.
