On a modern Mac (under OS X), is it better to run the original games, or is it better to run them under Aleph One (however that works)?

As I understand it, it's better to use Aleph One for Marathon 2 and Marathon: Infinity. However, the original Marathon apparently doesn't work with Aleph One.

What benefits does using Aleph One give you?

It lets you run Marathon in OS X instead of classic. Check out http://forums.macnn.com/showthread.p...hreadid=241301

Aye. There's now a download for "M1A1" (a conversion of Marathon that will work with Aleph One) on the Trilogy Release page linked in the parent post, too.
