Hello. I'm looking for some apps or scripts that can do these things. I seem to remember hearing about applications with these functionalities before, but I can't find them now. Thanks for your help.

- customize tooltips in applications
- make an application's icon visible or invisible in the Dock

For the first one, it's called "Interface Builder." You get it by installing XCode. For the second one, Google for "LSUIElement."

Thanks a lot. I actually remembered another app that removes an app's icon from the Dock: "Dockless."
