Does anyone have any information on/experience with going from MS Money on Windows to Quicken 2005 (or otherwise) on the Mac? I have a Windows-using friend who is considering the switch. The possibile loss of her Money data is holding her up.

About two years ago I switched from Money 2002 to Quicken 2003 on my iBook. Didn't lose a bit of data (about two years' worth at the time) and I haven't looked back.

Was there a facility built in to Quicken that let you do it?

No, I just exported my file as a .qif file from within Money on my PC, copied it across the LAN to my iBook and then opened it in Quicken.
