New ibook, install Carbomlib 1.3.1?

Hi everyone. Just got my new ibook yesterday and LOVE IT! WHen I did the software upfate it said I needed Carbonlib 1.3.1, should I install it or stay with the one that came with the machine? Any issues with it I should know? All help appreaciated!

Install it. Some software won't run without it.

i'd suggest you hang on to the old version of the carbonlib extension though (ie. you could disable it with the extensions manager). that way if 1.3.1 gives you any grief, you can just drop the old version back into the extensions folder.

The only issue I know about with Carbonlib 1.3.1 is with Netscape. It messes up the abbility to edit bookmarks properly. Basically, anything that involves dragging and dropping files on Netscape won't work. Bit of a pain in the ass!
