Sweet. I bet we will be able to download it a lot sooner.

This is one of only 4 artists I where I would actually buy the CD though.

I picked up the tenth anniversary edition of TDS, and now have a leagal copy of a bunch of remixed that i scored off of Napster way back when. I will be looking forward to a new sound, and want to hear some demos/singles on the radio.

Also hope so see them live as i missed out on the Fragility 2.0

The DJ on our local radio station was talking about the new album on the way home today. Said he got to listen to it, but they locked him and others in a room so there was no way they could get a copy out.

He said it rocked. It's less angry and seems to have sort of a dance beat to it almost.
I wouldn't mind a mix of Pretty Hate Machine style w/ the newer stuff.

Yeah, I think it was Danny who told MTV in an interview late last year that they were going to head back into the studio for a new Tool album once APC's tour was over, with hopes of having it completed by summer.

I'm not fanatical about NIN, or any band for that matter, but the reason I'm posting in this thread is:

I hate exclusivity.

That stupid bag of dicks A.K.A Trent Reznor just spoiled the ending of Million Dollar Baby for me. **** him. I hope his album gets pirated and released on the internet weeks before it is due in stores.

I've heard some of the Wreckard... he has clips on his website.

Lucky Pierre was his band/identity before Prick. That's the clown on the artwork and a character in the lyrics, if I remember.

from http://www.pluggedinonline.com/music.../a0000801.cfm:

"Encourage teens to pray for Reznor instead of wallowing in his ear-splitting hopelessness."

i'll pray that the new album is as great as his past work!

I have about every NIN CD.

I was listening to them on my iPod, and realized a lot of the songs sound a lot a like. Even off different albums. I am not even taking about the remixes.

So far "Further Down the Spiral" has to be one of my favs.

It's version of "Piggy" is better than the original.

sorry to redeem this old thread but did anyone else notice that the video promo of "the hand that feeds" from the nin website is like a lot better then the single just released on itms. i bought the song off itunes but did not like it half as much as the video. so i ripped it to wav with quicktime then loaded in itunes and converted to mp3 and still sounds a lot better imo. anyone else notice this?

Probably because all of the ticket brokers bought most of the seats. This is ridiculous. We wanted to go to one of the Phoenix shows in late May. SOLD OUT, well except every ticket broker seems to have 15-20 tickets for $250. That's convenient.
