I'm in love with these three girls and thinking of getting one. I haven't seen them in person yet and am wondering what schoodles are like. Anyone out there have have one or know someone that does? Are they yippie?

My mom/sister got a Pomapoo a couple years ago. It's very well tempered, doesn't shed, and only slightly yippie.

What's the point of lapdogs? Get a cat instead.

Schnoodle? Pomapoo? I believe the exact term is Mutts...

Being in debt and celebrating a lower deficit is like being on a diet and celebrating the fact you gained two pounds this week instead of five.

I've always wanted a bobcat, jaguar, lynx, etc just to tell people that my cat will make your dog piss itself. Especially those people that think their rott/pit/shepard/etc is the most badass dog alive.

I like my water with hops, malt, hops, yeast, and hops.

Exactly. Certain crossbreeds are becoming the new purebreds, as more and more genetic defects begin to emerge in the purebred lines.

Many moons back, the three Alsatians from across the street got out of their yard and chased my cat into a corner on my front lawn. Cat then proceeded to comprehensively kick the snot out of all three of them, who promptly ran home whimpering.
Moral of the story? Never underestimate the claw-fu of the average domestic cat.

Damn, and I thought my old cat was cool for chasing off a pitbull that wandered into our house in search of food. But that takes the cake.

See, the people charging and paying craploads of money for dogs have to justify it somehow.

The dogs are bred for desirable qualities. The pomapoo is the size of a pomeranian but it doesn't shed.

How much is the dog? If it's free or next to nothing then go for it. Poodles are smart and schnauzers like to bark. You'll have a smart barking dog.
We have a Belgian Malinois, a Yorkie that is 2 pounds (who rules the roost around here) and a "hybrid" dog that is from a man by the name of Wallace Havens that is called a Mini St. Bernard "hybrid" that was/is a rescue. He's the smartest of all the dogs we have and he's a mutt ("hybrid" is a euphemism).
Oh, and on Friday we were given a purebred Siamese cat that was living at my son's school, a stray, so took it down and got him fixed. He's very friendly. We named him Sid Vicious and he's happy on the bed. Likes to ride in the car and is purring all of the time. Rescuing an animal is a great feeling. Make sure to check Craigslist.org in your area for any pets that need homes.

No, but my neighbor has two Pekapoos that are great dogs, especially for those that like small dogs. She (my neighbor) highly recommends them. I normally like larger breeds, but really like this breed.
