Apple is offering a select group of companies up to 20 percent off leases for the 2013 Mac Pro, a new report claims. Eligible businesses must be in the US, and placing orders for at least $25,000 of hardware with a 24-month lease period. Even then, it's believed that only some companies are receiving the offer via email notices.

Apple is presumably trying to spur large-scale adoption of the Pro, which is aimed almost exclusively at its namesake audience. The company may have trouble pulling in customers though, as it today delayed delivery of the Pro in every major market.

Another iMac fiasco. Apple is losing its touch the to sway the Wall-Streeters, not the customers.
