I need your experience: yesterday i noticed that my backlight flickers when turned to low brightness (three dots). Is this a sign that indicates the display will fail within the next few weeks? I need info about this ASAP because the machine has only 1 1/2 months of AppleCare warranty left and i don´t want to be screwed 1 day after the warranty expires.
edit: It´s a 667 MHz DVI PB

It should not be acting like that, so why not take it in now?

That's indicative of a failing DC Inverter board. Call apple and get it fixed ASAP.
Who knows, maybe they'll upgrade your Ti to Al .
