Have you wanted to either upgrade your current display or add a second one to your computing set-up, in order to increase the amount of desktop space you have to work with? The second easy-to-enter competition held in conjunction with MacNN Deals is for an Apple Thunderbolt Display, a 27-inch screen worth $1,000 that can provide a boost to anyone's iMac, Mac mini, MacBook Air and Pro; or Mac Pro.

As you may be aware, we have been listing some of the best online deals for our readers to take advantage of, under the Daily Deals post, and we've wanted to extend this for some time. At the start of this week, we officially launched MacNN Deals, a dedicated section of the site devoted to limited-time discounts on a variety of gadgets, hardware, software, online learning, and other items.

To celebrate the launch, the second competition from MacNN Deals is giving away an Apple Thunderbolt Display. Measuring 27 inches, the screen offers a resolution of 2560x1440 with an aspect ratio of 16:9. The backlit IPS display also offers viewing angles of 178 degrees, an ambient light sensor, and a built-in HD camera and microphone for use with FaceTime.

In order to enter the competition, you have to sign up for an account on MacNN Deals and submit your email address through the contest page. Entries will be accepted until 11:59pm PDT on May 27, 2015, so you'll want to be quick. Full terms and conditions are available on the contest page.

Apologies. I wrote the copy for this post, and figured that MacBook would be good enough shorthand to cover all three MacBook variants. It's been corrected to cover the two that do and the one that doesn't.
