Today, I bought a Keyspan USB adaptor from school so that I can use my iBook's Wireless KB (which wasn't getting much use) with my Powermac. The thing is, I can't get the adaptor to work. I've searched this forum and google for an answer, but to no avail. Any ideas on how I can get this working?

If it matters, I have a Dual 867 MDD/1GB RAM

thanks

When I first tried to set up my wireless keyboard etc, I had a similar problem which wasn't fixed by reinstalling firm ware etc. It ended up with the store replacing the adaptor as faulty.

The new one worked just fine when plugged in. You might want to check the adaptor on another machine to eliminate this as a cause.

Thanks for the response.

The only other mac that I have already has BT, but i tried it anyway with the same results.

Im not sure whether or not the adaptor is faulty or if its just not supported in 10.3.3.

Unfortunately, no. I haven't gotten a chance to play with Bluetooth yet. Is there an Apple Store near by that you can take the adapter to to plug into another Mac?

I have 2 macs, an iBook and Powermac. It didnt work on either. The Adaptor is supported by OS X, its just that something screwed up Keyspan's products in panther and I can't seem to find the fix.

how unfortunate.
