Ok, clicking here allows you to edit CUPS configuration. Is there any more any one knows of?

Interesting... Can only access that CUPS web admin page when Printer Sharing is active.

i dont think there are any built in, but you can download something like tenon's itools, which lets you do a lot of unix stuff through a web interface. it's not free though, but i think thre's a free 30 day trial.

do a search on google to find the page
everything you know is wrong (and stupid)

Don't install iTools unless you can deal with reinstalling Mac OS X if you want to remove it (even the demo!).

For free, you can get webmin, which does basically the same thing.

(Webmin site seems to be down at the moment, BTW.)

Why not use the built-in firewall? Uncheck Printer Sharing in the Firewall tab of the Sharing prefpane.

Samba has a web-based admin tool (very, very comprehensive) - port 901. If order to get it working you have to edit your inetd.conf file and do a few other little things - no great shakes. See MacOS X Hints for the lowdown.

You might also be interested in Webmin - basically this is a web admin tool that pretty much lets you do *everything*.
