Hello all - I'm looking to replace Quicken as my personal finance manager - it's just clunky and I hate the yearly upgrade cost. There seem to be about 20 OS X competitors out there and I wanted to see what everyone's experience and thoughts on them were:
important features (for me):
Ability to import .qifs downloaded from my credit cards/banks
Clean OS X-like interface/functionality (no bad carbon ports please - Quicken's already got this covered)
Budgeting/Reporting ability (how much did I spend on x category, how well did I meet my budget in x category, etc.)
Ability to track securties prices/loans is a bonus, but not absolutely necessary
Ability to interface with iCal/Address Book for bill payment/scheduling would also be a huge bonus.
Finally, I'd prefer the company to be one that will be around for a while/isn't somebody's school project - In other words I'd like the developer to be continuing to improve the software over the coming years and not merely abandon it - developers as responsive as the OmniGroup and/or Market Circle would be most welcome
So thoughts? Recomendations? Warnings?
