How many iPod nano users here with this problem?
http://www.ipodnn.com/news/05/09/23/ipod.flaw/

Mine is set to ship next week, and I'm hoping it won't be a problem. However, my luck lately hasn't been that great

The cracked screen is scary, let's hope this isn't a widespread problem. My nano is great so far, only complaint is how easily it scratches.

Well, I'm glad to hear that Apple has acknowledged the problem and will replace them under warranty. Just hope mine isn't one of the 0.1%.

Use plastic polish and elbow grease to get screen scratches out.

Works like a charm.

I simply left on the plastic cover that was on the front of my nano. It protects the whole front and the click wheel works fine.

Note that you can also buy plastic film LCD protectors from places such as Ritz Camera. I've put these on all of my electronic devices that have LCD screens because I've had many LCD screens get scratched in the past.

oh crap, it's in my front pocket, I whip it out to show someone and half the screen is gone. Apple says 1/10th of 1 percent of all iPod nanos are affected?

Well, I just drew the longest straw and am calling AppleCare now.....

I definitely did not drop it. My work shirts all have a chest pocket so that's where I slip it in. There are no other objects in there except the nano.
