Interesting situation I've been able to repeatedly reproduce:

Launch OmniWeb... Start downloading HUGEMEGAFILE.ISO, start Navigator, MSN Messenger, and ResEdit all at the same time. Navigator and MSN Messenger appear. Realize I meant to click Sherlock, not ResEdit, Classic Startup Screen Appears. Click "Cancel" on the Classic Startup before an image appears (usually grey screen then happy mac, but this is before even the grey screen). Click "Cancel Starting Up" or something similar. Go about my business, when, suddenly, the Classic application "PrintMonitor" pops up and goes away. Check Top. TruBlueEnvironment is running.

Classic launching without the classic startup program. I've confirmed this bug on 2 iMac DVSE 400's and a B&W G3 450. If you cancel the "Starting Up Classic" windows before Classic displays ANYTHING (easier to do under a heavy load as it takes longer to load), it simply continues to launch without the graphical window.

Is this bug in Jaguar?
Any intelligent fool can make things bigger, more complex, and more violent. It takes a touch of genius -- and a lot of courage -- to move in the opposite direction.
