Perhaps "fix" is too harsh of a word, but I would love to see what Pixar could do with Mickey and friends...
There hasn't been a good Mickey movie in a LONG time.

Pixar: Messing with an original 2D to make it 3D is a crime.

I agree... what I'm saying is... could their creative team create something that would bring Mickey Mouse back. I'm thinking more of the creative... not the 3D...

I wonder how long it would be before Minnie would leave.

Pixar's creativity minus the technology? Is that the scenario you are proposing? This would mean a Pixar script, storyboard and direction, but classic Disney animation production.

For them to fix Mickey, something would have to be broken.

Disney has so far killed the character behind every property it has bought.
Henson? bah.
They said when they were being sold that they wouldn't allow Disney to turn Kermit into just an icon with no story like Mickey has become. How wrong they were.
Can Pixar bring back some character to Mickey? Sure - but would it be the young adventuresome easily spooked Mickey, or would it be the sedate Mickey of the 60s with his nephews?

If they divorced, you think she'd have a solo career?

They released a Mickey and Minnie short with George of the Jungle-it was great. I haven't heard of another new Mickey short since then. That's a LONG time, too.

Don't tell me you've never wondered about "his" voice?

Actually, my thought would be to use use Pixar's creative and the technology, but to make it look more classic and less modern 3D [as Pixar has done in the past].
They used computer animations for Beauty and the Beast, I'm thinking along that line... perhaps with a bit more detail.

IMHO, he is broken. Some of the low quality stuff they are putting out is just sad. There hasn't been a big budget Mickey Mouse moving in a long time. I would love to see Pixar do something on the scale of Fantasia. To bring Mickey back to the forefront of animation.
I guess I would simply like to see Mickey in all his glory.

The Disney Channel runs a CGI Mickey show. It's interesting that they keep one critical factor correct: His ears *always* appear as flat circles, no matter what angle his head is at.
