I'm also interested in this. As well, I'd love to be able to use VLC instead of Quicktime for videos that I have on my drive to show up in Front Row. Maybe somebody will hack this ability into it?

As far as I know, Front Row is just a fancy Applescript interface for Quicktime, iTunes, DVD Player, and iPhoto. The only thing that's really not done using a built-in program is the Web Trailers.

So the answer to your question is yes.

i'd like to see iView support too, but it wont happen. I started on iPhoto, switched to iView after a year.

Then with the new iMac i switched to iPhoto.... for about 6 hours.

ha ha same! I thought I'd try iPhoto again so I could use the pics with Front Row. I lasted about 10 minutes though
