The amount of vitriol found in this thread is rather surprising.

I'm not a zealot. I just have no patience for people who think that Aqua widgets and draggable sheeted windows are more important than extensibility.

Ticking sound coming from a .pkg package? Don't let the .bom go off! Inspect it first with Pacifist. Macworld - five mice!

Why?

I don't use extensibility features (never felt the need). Therefore, my choice seems to be between an ugly browser and a nice-looking one, where both will do what I want them to do.

So tell me again why I should use Firefox over Safari?

What the nerd community most often fail to realize is that all features aren't equal. A well implemented and well integrated feature in a convenient interface is worth way more than the same feature implemented crappy, or accessed through a annoying interface.
