Has anyone experienced this? You click on the desktop to move a file and all you can do is draw a square with the pointer ( as if your right clicking on a empty part of the desktop. A finder relaunch cures the problem but is this a bug or has anyone else experience this and has fixed it by tracking back to some app/ plugin etc?
Its not a deal breaker but every now and then it is annoying.

I see this once in awhile on my pro with 8gb ram. Hopefully, the next update will fix this.

It's happened to me. I notice it when I have a folder on the desktop and I can't open it. It's like it's not even there. If I open a finder window and navigate to the desktop, it's there. It's only happened a couple of times so I can't remember my solution. Probably either a restart or finder relaunch though.

No I used archive and install option. This problem occurs every 2-3 days and I can figure out what is causing it.
