Bought my powerbook G4 15 1ghz in February. My battery has never really lasted very long. Now, however, I get max 2.10 hrs with it if I use 'longest battery life" setting in the energy panel. This is when I'm just checking email, surfing the net, writing in word.

What do you guys get and how? IF this is low, will Apple replace it under warranty?

Thanks!

Have you tried lowering the screen brightness? Try resseting the PMU too. Your numbers aren't that drastic though.
NOW YOU SEE ME! 2.4 MBP and 2.0 MBP (running ubuntu)

what does that have anything to do with his post on short battery life, the recall was for batteries overheating.

And in my experience under normal use 2-2.5 hours is typical from a 15"

I read as:
MAXIMUM use is 2.1 hrs, average or typical must be less, say 1.5 hrs. or less. I suspected there may be a battery problem.

I am sorry you don't see the connection.
