Thinking about getting an Intel Mac...
1. Do you have to boot into windows, or can you run it concurrently with OS X like you would with Virtual PC?
2. How well does Windows work with older stuff, i.e. Win 98/ME era? I would really like to try out Star Trek Armada

1) If you use Parallels, you can run it concurrently. Otherwise, Boot Camp will require you to boot into Windows.
2) In general. XP runs 98/ME software just fine.

Star Trek Armada 1 and 2 work fine under XP. However, they won't work under Parallels as Parallels does not support DirectX games.

This is why I've got both Parallels and Boot Camp installed...
One for a "virtual" PC, and one for a real PC.
Fortunately for me, I have a (legal) WinXP Pro SP2 Corporate installer disc. Skips the online activation, so I can install it/reinstall it on as many systems/virtualized systems as I wish.
