Adobe has
expanded its app-based offerings with a pair of new mobile apps for editing images while on the move. The addition of Photoshop Fix and Adobe Capture CC to the company's app range accompanies other changes to existing Creative Cloud mobile apps, with many updates for the apps rolling out to users today.
Following after the discontinuation of
Photoshop Touch for iOS,
Photoshop Fix is a continuation of the company's new "task-orient" mobile approach. As the name suggests, Photoshop Fix is an app for retouching and restoring images for iOS, letting users have access to desktop Photoshop tools such as the Healing Brush and Liquify, as well as other editing options.

The other new app,
Adobe Capture CC, combines the existing Adobe Brush, Shape, Color, and Hue apps into a single all-in-one app. The app lets users quickly capture design assets on their mobile device, including the creation of brushes shapes, and other items, drawn from images within the app and from photographs.
The other Creative Cloud mobile apps, including
Photoshop Mix,
Photoshop Sketch,
Illustrator Draw,
Comp CC, and
Premiere Clip, are also receiving an assortment of updates. All the mobile apps now interface with the Creative Cloud desktop apps using CreativeSync, allowing for quick transfers of work from a quick idea on mobile to more refined work on the desktop. One other notable addition is a change to Lightroom mobile, allowing users to capture photographs from within the app, along with targeted adjustment and dehaze options.
