Where can I find the battery in my old Series G3 Powerbook to replace it so all my emails don't have the date of 1st January 1904. Is there any plans that show me how to locate & replace this battery.

It's not a user-replaceable battery, officially at least. But if it is a PB G3 model with USB, then the backup battery is under the keyboard. Remove the optical drive and lift the keyboard, it's visible in the bottom-right corner of the keyboard opening.
