This is "Photoshop 7 Announced" not released. If I can't have it in my hands in 24 hours, it ain't released!

I think this officially puts OS X over the top. Just thought I'd share that with you.

Many software vendors rarely tell the exact ship day.

In Adobe's past when the app was announced they only told the estimate time in quarter of the year

InDesign - 4th 2001
Illustrator - 3rd 2001
AfterEffects -4th 2001
Golive - 1st 2002
LiveMotion - 1st 2002

Adobe's 2nd quarter starts on March....so I am betting it would be actually shipped by the end of March....I already told my friend to get an order for me once the final price list is available
MacPro 2.66, 5GB RAM, 250GB + 160GB HDs, 23" Cinema Display
MacBook Pro 1.83GHz, 2GB RAM (from work)
MacBook (White) 1.83GHz, 2GB RAM

I just read over the PDF file of new features... I'm dyin' here!

If this announcement is the same as the GoLive announcement, we might still be in for a two to three month wait before they actually ship.

I can understand them wanting to build interest by pre-announcing, but I think they went overboard with GoLive-- announcing it in early January, and now it's the end of February, and still no ship date. If this happens with Photoshop, we have no real reason to expect it in hand before mid-April.

If you add it to your cart from the apple store and try to checkout, the ship date says "April"

GoLive has been delayed because of a bug.
