Puyo Fever, the latest in the Puyo Puyo series, is going to be released for the Dreamcast (along with PS2, GameCube, and Xbox) this winter.
Puyo Puyo is the best puzzle game ever. Anyone who says that Tetris is better is an idiot.
This is currently a Japan-only release, so you'll need a boot disc or modified system to play Puyo Feaver on a domestic console. (Unless you own a Japanese console.)
Those of you who have played Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine, Kirby's Avalanche, Qwirks, or Puyo Pop have essentially already played Puyo Puyo.
Pictures and information (in Japanese) can be found here and here.

Aren't you supposed to say that you're going to get the Xbox version because it will support 5.1 and 1080i?

Best accessories?
Only if you ignore the controller that forces your hands into an uncomfortable position, with a sharp and slippery digital directional pad, hard (ever heard of rubber?) and too stiff analog thumbstick, and a cord coming out of the bottom.
Not to mention that it has fewer buttons than the Saturn pad.
Whoever designed the Dreamcast controller should be executed. Slowly and painfully.
I don't like the Dreamcast keyboard much either.

i guess i was one of the few people that liked the dreamcast controller very much. Everything just felt right to me on it. While everyone touted the XBox controller (original one, not the S model) as being this big clunky uncomfortable controller, i never really had a problem with it. i didn't like it as much as the dreamcast controller, and i like the PS2 controller better than both, but i didn't have a problem using it like some people did.

I liked the idea of triggers. But the cord coming out of the bottom? and that crappy removable memory thing? Hmmm.

Wow, a new Dreamcast game...so cool. ^^ The Dreamcast may never die, but the unit we have here isn't very alive anymore.
Most of my friends quite like the Dreamcast controller. I...don't care for it as much. It's OK. The cord coming out of the bottom is just wrong. Not entirely comfortable for me. The stick probably should have had a rubber top.
So far, the GameCube controller is my favorite. I also love the DualShock 2 but it's a tad too small. And I don't like the Xbox controller one bit.

How many consoles had a fishing rod as a controller.

I have the SVGA converter for it. Soul Calibur just kicked ass on my 19" monitor. It was the first console to support progressive scan, and some games supported 16x9.

The PlayStation had one years before the Dreamcast was released.
