It would be nice since AI is another satellite forum of MacNN if they'd let us use them.

I'm pretty sure AI has zero affiliation with MacNN anymore.

That said, I was under the impression that effgee was doing a slew of new emoticons to go with the new theme. No clue what happened to them.

he had a whole set that he thought would be nice and consistent for the forum. but i think nostalgia won out and they never saw the light of day.

subego, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

There were a few users, such as rickey939, who were invited to critique the new theme, and they were given access to the theme beta feedback forum. Subego and brassplayersrock, you were not part of the beta team, so you can't access that forum. Here's a sample of the new images effgee came up with:

Unfortunately the smilies seem to be gone from where effgee was hosting them. Otherwise I'd provide them as well.
