Is the student discount in the Apple Stores the same as online?
Thanks.

Sort of. Unless things have changed recently you can't buy discounted software at a physical Apple Store, only hardware. As explained to me by an Apple Store employee, it has something to do with profit margins.

They generally require ID at the store too- which is not always necessary online. So make sure to bring it along.

You have to have school ID or be able to log into a school email account.

Before I joined the ADC as a student, I went into an Apple store and was ready to buy my MacBook Pro. They didn't ask to see an id. I also found out that my debit card had a $4000 a day limit. Drove me nuts when my card was declined and I have more than enough money in my account, I just had already spent close to $3k that day.
I like my water with hops, malt, hops, yeast, and hops.

The discount now applies to software titles in the stores as well; this changed very recently.
Why is there always money for war, but none for education?

They didn't help you call you bank and have it temporarily lifted?

There's a difference between a credit card daily limit and a debit card daily limit. Usually you can get a credit card company to work with you, but a bank manages your debit card and they usually set the limits based on your history AND balance. My bank is not likely to lift the limit on my debit card, but that's fine because I can use a credit card and then make a direct payment from my checking account so I don't accrue any interest. And I've bought the item with a credit card so I get the card's protection as well-not all debit cards do that.
