Hey all...I live in Lebanon/Hanover, NH and have no access to an iPhone b/c AT&T is not up here. Apparently I can go 45 min south and get one, but if i did, i assume I would be on roaming up here? Anyone have one around this area? It really sucks as I really want one and have been waiting to buy it for a while.

As far as I know and can tell from the ATT map there is coverage in Hanover/Lebanon, but no 3G.

You'll have to unlock and use on another company's GSM network if there's no AT&T service. I'm in the same situation in Montana.

I know a couple of people with iPhones in the area, none of them seem to have any complaints.
[EDIT: I should add, "any complaints other than the spotty wireless service in the region in general." i.e., AT&T is no worse than the others, and has coverage]
