super excited.
Will arrive in 3-5 days or so Got the 24" iMac w/ 8800 and base MacBook.
I was going to wait for the new CPU - but I'd only care if it came out within a month of me getting it ... and I could just exchange it.
The 8800 is a pretty decent graphics card too, right?

The 8800 (Mobile) was a great card, when it launched over a year ago; technology moves on. But with a Mac it's not like you have any better choice for gaming.

8800 will play current gen titles pretty well, as in Medium-High settings at native resolution, from what I've seen (Far Cry 2, Dead Space, Left 4 Dead [and other Valve releases], Fallout 3 and COD5).

With TF2 you can run at full res (1920x1200), but you won't be able to push the quality (FSAA/AF) too high.
