I noticed at the apple store that they are selling a monster s-video cable for the powerbook. They don't explain what connectors the cable has. I am assuming that it has s-vidoe and 3.5mm plug on the powerbook side, but what is on the other side.

Anyone have this cable?

Thanks,
Jeff

The S-Video to Composite video adapter? Or a normal S-Video cable? The adapter comes with all PowerBook with S-Video port, as for the latter, if you have any ADB keyboard... u may use the ADB cable as a substitute for S-Video cable.

It is a single cable that carries audio and video. I know that one side has a s-video cable for video and a 3.5mm plug for audio. I am curious what the other end of the cable has.

Thanks

[edit: removed link, which was making the window huge, and had expired anyway -- tooki]

If the link doesn't work, Go to the apple store, click on cables and hubs, scroll all the way down to "iTV Link for Powerbook"

Presumably they are two RCA plugs, since that is the only input any U.S. consumer TV set uses for audio input.

The cord has S-VIDEO, and Mini-Jack on the powerbook side,

It has S-Video and Composite [Red + White] cords on the TV side.

Thanks for the help. I was kind of hoping that the other side did not have s-video but a composite video.
