I just bought a new Powerbook G4 800 and need a carrying case. I'm looking for something really stylish! Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I might look. I saw the Brenthaven Case offered by Apple. It looks pretty sturdy. Is anyone familiar with that case or any others?

I just got the same 'book and I use a really cool Tumi bag (http://www.tumi.com/products/product.asp?prodnum=382). The bag is really nice but you will need to get a laptop protector thing for inside it (Tumi makes one that they often sell with it). There are so many cool details on this bag: there is a keychainon the inside of the bag that is on a self-retracting nylon cordreally useful. There are also tons of pockets and a sturdy strap. It comes in 3 colors: blue, black and silver. I would highly reccomend it! The bag was $125 (really cheap for Tumi stuff) and the sleeve was $65. They also sell bigger ones that are similar to this one.

Dude,

I feel your pain... I have been looking for a good bad for my Titanium forever. I finally found a bag last week at Best Buy of all places that ROCKS. It was only $39, and is superior in every way to the Brenhaven. It looks GREAT and is covered by a lifeime warranty. It is made by a company called "ICON"

The bag is the MOST protective bag I have seen. It is just as protective as the brenhaven, and seems to hold *almost* as much as it but is FAR less bulky. I would reccomend it for sure

I actually went to the Apple Store this afternoon to see the Brenthaven Bag. Its a nice well constructed bag. I like that bag but it is a bit bulky though.

I will go to Best Buys tomorrow to see the Icon Bag. I can't believe the price you paid. That's really unbelievable! It is especially amazing when you add the fact that it comes with a lifetime warranty.

Thanks for the info.

I just ordered my own TiBook 800 too! It should be hear today.

Anyways, I ordered a bag from SpireUSA.com It's more of a back pack style but it looks like it works great, plus it's made for the Tibook specifically!

The name of the bag is the Icon and it looks cool too!!

Anybody know a good sleeve that FITS a TiBook WITH a Tilt 'n Tote handle?

I'd prefer it also to be in a vertical orientation too. And while I'm asking for the world... I like the idea of a rigid support/protection and not just the padding.

The sleeve that comes ONLY with the Brenthaven Titanium 2 backpack is perfect but they won't sell it separately. I've also considered the Willow Design sleeves, but am unsure whether the vertical one would be wide enough to accommodate the Tibook with the handle.

Any owners of Willow Design sleeves and a Tibook with Tilt 'n Tote?

Thanks in advance!

Sorry to post again here but does anyone own the Tom Bihn sleeve? Does that fit a TiBook with tote handle?
