my father uses the apple wireless keyboard and mouse..

they are great...

he also used vpc to access his peachtree accounting...

he could not ever use his keypad on the wireless keyboard while in windows, im guessing for the lack of a num lock button to activate it in windows?

i recently bought him a pc - emachines - 200$ : )

anyway,
hes now running peachtree on there and remotely connecting to it with windows remote desktop from mac.... works very quick and much healthier and better solution then vpc..

anyway.... num pad still does not work....

i think its just something in os x that always recognizes the key pad, and not something thats actually in the keyboard that always has it activated ...

does anyone know a way around this...
would love to get key pad working (number pad)

thanx all

Well, I've never used the Apple wireless keyboard, but all other Apple keyboards (essentially) have the numlock key... why would it not?

It's also the "clear" button. You have tried pressing that, right?
