Ok, ever since Excite@home went south, I don't have a homepage that lists all the news headlines I like to read (headline, international, national, entertainment, weather). I tried Yahoo, but the page format bites, so I hated browsing it. I logged in maybe five times. So, since last fall, I only have a few that I hit daily. I could use some good new recommendations, because my "entertainment news" quota is falling to all time record lows.

These are what I hit almost every day:

1. New York Times Online
2. Macnn + Macminute + Macrumors + XLR8yourmac + Macfixit
3. Drudgereport

ps. 4. Designiskinky.com

When you were young and your heart was an open book, you used to say "live and let live."
But if this ever changing world, in which we live in, makes you give in and cry, say "live and let die."

Sites that I visit every day include:
  • Macnn
    The Register
    BBC News online
    Sky News
Appleturns (although not as much recently as there haven't been updates for a while)

    Blackstar.co.uk
    IMDB
    Apple.com

A bunch of other stuff that I visit most days but not religiously which I can't be assed thinking about just now.

This thread could be interesting

For news I visit the economist. Good info on world events, but little on entertainment and even less on weather. One can never know enough about the sexual habits of youths in the UK compared to the youths in the Netherlands.

Well these are the sites I visit, in no special order:

MacNN
MacNN Lounge
MacNN OS X General Discussion
ArsTechnica
ArsTechnica Battlefront (some real lamers in there )
Wired.com
Whirlpool.net.au
Slashdot.org

I decided to cancel out all Mac sites except MacNN. I visit ArsTechnica just for fun, Wired and Slashdot for general tech news, and Whirlpool for Australian Broadband News (every Aussie on cable should be visiting that sites, for this reason.

I don't visit media sites on the web. Annoying page layouts, ads etc. So I stick with the The Australian, The Sydney Morning Herald and The Financial Review.
In vino veritas.
