So I'm getting Tiger on friday like most of you. I'm planning on doing some spring cleaning and a clean install. One of the few things that I would like to keep is all of my old mail.app data. This includes all the information in my old mailboxes, rules, accounts, signatures, etc. If I copy the mail folder from the panther library to the new tiger library, will this do everything that I need it to? Is there some other way I should go about backing it up. Thanks.

PS. I have .dot mac and saw the backup mail messages and settings, will this work well?

There's a pref file in your library you'd probably like to take over as well. You'll find it at ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.mail.plist
