When upgrading to tiger I ended up loosing a lot of my songs because my iPod which I was using as a removable harddrive died on me and now is being sent in to service. It proably has some irrepable hard disk problem. Anyway, I just wanted to know if anyone has called up complaining to the iTMS and had them let you download your songs over again.

Losing not loosing. A tie is loosened. Songs are lost.

And that's why you get a prompt saying back up your music. You can try to contact iTMS and explain it to them (complaining won't help much) and you might be able to re-download your music, depending on the amount and the time from purchase to being lost.
