My iBook is doing something strange.

My iBook will turn down the brightness of the screen about 3 notches when i unplug the AC Adapter. I can turn it back up, however.

Sometimes this also happens while the AC adapter is still attatched.

Doesn't anyone have a clue as to why this is happening?

take a look at your energy saver system preferences. Screen dimming can be set differently for battery and AC adapter operation.
