A friend is selling his upgraded 250GB, 3GB Core2Duo MacBook for $1k. Good deal.
However, what kind of frame rates in WoW can I expect if I buy this MacBook from him?
TIA very much!

I get about 20fps on average, which works just fine for me. Heavy traffic areas such as Shattrath, etc., tend to bog it down a bit, but it's not bad in my opinion.

Harb,
Thanks for the reply!~
Is your 20fps with the following completed?
Turn off:
Death Effect
Full Screen Glow
Specular Lighting
Vertical Sync
Terrain Distance - Set to Minimum or one notch above Min
Turns out the first of these things make the game use Anisotropic filtering which slows down game.
Enabling OpenGL to use both processors:
/console GLFaster 2
If you haven't done these..can you try them and see how your FPS improves? I did these and my FPS (on my iMac) in UC went from 40-50 in UC to 90-100.
Thanks!
