Hi there,
I've got a pretty specific photo slide show effect request by a client. It sets up like this:
- On the web page, there's a background of a night skyline
- On top of said background, they want a slide show of random photos to appear
- Instead of any other effect, they'd like a firework effect to launch a firework up... to then burst into a photo... and then fade out... all looking like it was a firework that exploded into a photo
Anyone know where I can look into something like this? It can be Flash, CSS, whatever. Thanks so much!
BD

I think something like this will almost certainly have to be done in Flash. (I'll skip the objections to such a webpage, though.)
Unless you are a Flash guru, I would seriously suggest finding one and ask for a consultation.

Hey,
That's what I figured... I was hoping, though, that someone may know of a pre-packaged effects library that had this included.
Thanks,
BD

you could do a search on kirupa.com to see if they have it.
I bet such a thing is possible with jquery too, but this does seem like more of a flash thing. At the very least, if it was created in flash and exported as a movie, which you could then load randomly?
