Oh yeah, and watch out for the Theme Police who might rap you on the knuckles for releasing this here and not at MT.... Oh Sin of Sins!!! However shall the 'community' survive such blatant disregard of the 10 MacThemes Commandments!

Thanks Gerrit! I love it!

edit: I'm enjoying the tabs, it sure helps unify a dual display setup.

Thanks for all the nice comments !

Please note a few bug fixes :

- the scroll tracks in the Light Menutab version are corrected
- Fontbook Enable/Disable button is better aligned with the "+" button

The updated version is now available for download.

Enjoy !

Thanks for the update!!

@ Roosta .. yes, the thread was removed. I kinda felt only the theme's creator should post a release of a theme.

One of the mods was kind enough to understand that and removed the link.

Hey, it's gerrit's and xcaliber's mod which they have permission to distribute as they see fit. I didn't see you shouting 'Link Police' here, did I?

@ Brazil .. I'm sorry you feel that way about me, and I don't recall ever sending you a PM. I have no problem with someone providing a link to the theme. However, I don't think it was proper for someone other than Gerrit to actually put the theme in the "Release" section, I think only the original creator should do that. If someone provides a link with a screenshot, that's one thing, but I do feel it is up to the creator to officially "Release" their themes/icons/walls.. etc.

Sorry of OT, but I felt the need to clarify.

Thank you.

Hrm... Ready yourself.

In My Opinion:
The light gray line that follows the bottom of the graphite elements is way too striking.
The Color and Sheen of the graphite buttons are so visually different from the window they are sitting on, it looks like a cut and paste job.
The soft nature of the windows clashes with the hard plastic nature of the graphite elements.

Not my favorite from G. Glad to see that others like it though

I love it Gerrit! Now all I have to do is try and find out how to get de complete menubar transparent, make the menubar shadow disappear AND make sure that in the meantime my dock is still normally visible... I just can't seem to get it to work!

Other than that: GREAT!!!

WOW,

GErrit I'm usually kind of on the fence about your work, not that it isnt gorgeous, just that for me, personally, some of the themes are harder to use, although I know your aim is minimalism. But these both look fantastic, I commend both of you on a job well done.

NOw, all I have to do is wait for unsanity to get me a shapeshifter UB...

edit

I dont blame you for not releasing at MT...there is the occasional maturity, or lack thereof problem over there

whooooaaa... Wait one darn second G0Ducks! haha...

I didn't see the "light" version. This version is indeed tehs3x. It thwarts all of the problems that I have with the dark version.

¡Estoy grabando ahora!

@ G0Ducks.. lol.. you crack me up. GraphiteAGV originally started as a light theme only. I happen to love dark themes, so Gerrit and I worked on a dark version that was never really going to be released. I begged him to release since I personally love it, but its not everyone's "cup of tea".

So glad you like the light version

BTW .. If anyone is interested in obtaining an up to date version of the GUIShade Yahoo Widget, one of the members of MT received permission from the original creator to update it and release it. The link is located in the "Releases" thread. The GUIShade widget is what Gerrit and I used to kill the Menubar shadow in our screenshots of the tabbed version of GraphiteAGV.

Enjoy

One should note however, that the new GUIshade has some strange errors.

Firstly, the desktop image must be at the same rez as your screen, otherwise GUIshade looks a little wonky.

The other thing is that when GUIshade is active, it selects a strip of desktop image to "shade" the shadow of the menubar. That is the good part, the bad is that the colors of the selected strip are little richer than the original desktop. THERE IS A SOLUTION! All one has to do is turn on Deskshade without anything turned on... For some reason, Deskshade renderes the desktop image in the same "rich" way as GUIshade. Therefor, with these two working, all looks grand.

I would suggest that the above solutions also be made when using the new Menushade "hide=menubar hack."

Yours,

R
