How many of you wish the Mac mini also came with the following specs?

• 2.16GHz Intel Core Duo processor
• 100 GB 7,200 RPM hard drive
• ATi x1600 graphics card with 128 MB memory

What would they charge for it? $1,299?

Could Apple make something like this? SHOULD they make something like this? I think Apple should sell a high-end Mac mini.

Apart from the graphics card, that could be the next update to the Mac mini, or at least a 2.0GHz with the 100Gb drive as an option.

It'll be much easier if you just comply.

Don't forget the "black" model which will cost an extra $200...

You can have the first two items today. Buy the $599 model, swap the CPU for $445, and swap the HDD for $160.

You lose your warranty, and you still have integrated graphics, but you're halfway there.

I'm pretty happy with my mini, the only thing I would change is the GPU but because this is Apple's low end machine (other then the emac) I doubt very much if we will see anyhting but a GMA9xx GPU. I'm not sure if the GMA970 is out but I have to believe its going to be better then the 950
