I'm flying from NYC to Miami today and my American Airlines flight has wifi for $12.95 for the flight. The wifi is provided by gogoinflight.com and so far it's quite fast; definitely fast enough for general browsing.
I'm excited for the day where all flights have wifi.
Flying just got a lot less boring.
I have heard that ichat video even works well without too much lag. gogo is supposedly going to be blocking audio and video chats though so no skype. If nobody else is using the service you get all the bandwidth to yourself too.
