It was working fine. I shut it down.

Now when I turn it on, it's at the grey screen for few, then the apple logo pops up, the little circle starts turning at the bottom, and then it just shuts off.

I haven't deleted any files or anything. Odd thing it boots vista just fine.

Any tips outside of a reinstall?

IOUSB family is having trouble enumerating a USB device that has been plugged in.

^^^ That is the message I get when I hold down Apple+V @ start up. Only issue is, there is no usb plugged in.

Update:

Won't boot from the OSX disc either. And it's also flashing the question mark from time to time.

Of course there is: internal keyboard, trackpad, Bluetooth, etc.

But in your case, I think this message is just misleading. Sounds like bad RAM or a dead or dying hard drive. Back up now!

Yeah I couldn't back up because I couldn't boot up. Took it in to the genius bar, and after a decent amount of time they were able to force the system to boot into my OSX, where we were able to then force a disk repair. It's working now, but I definitely backed up everything.
