I had switched back to Siro a couple of days ago and was wondering what DSKY was up to with that image on his site. I am definitely going to have to test drive this one for a while.
Brass and Ruby Red . . . I am intrigued.
<edit>
and loving it! true enough there are parts missing [app skins] but the sliders, button and hightlight action, safari and the overall consistant look of the theme is very refreshing. Some accusations that some new themes have been too "K-Scheme" like; this does not apply to this one.

Edit, so that was stupid of me, I got to this thread from MacThemes and did not see the thread title properly even though it's written above. I just noticed the link in the orginal post. hehe.

Very nice theme.... DSKY rocks... but I won't be able to use this one. The colors just turn me off. If it was Silver and blue instead of tan and red, I'd use it. Even if it was silver and red... I guess it's the "beige" or "tan" than making me sick.
But it's very nice work... here's to hoping some color variations are released soon.

It's a damn shame that Quicktime and iTunes are not themed. I use these two alot and I would love to see them get themed.

Please tell me what icons you're using with that... and suggest some wallpapers, cuz this color combo clashes with everything I have!

I'm not sure why nobody is seeing it, but the link takes you to the page with a preview image and download link.
As always, his work is exceptional. However, I'm with Cody... if this were silver/gray and red I might have used it, silver/gray and blue and I most certainly would have used it.
As with any "dark" theme (though this theme isn't entirely dark), the buttons and drop down menus are very difficult to read on a CRT, a little better on an LCD. Items that are normally grayed out but still readable are completely lost in this theme.

MacDog,
The theme was made available on his site only a few hours after it was released on the SS downloads tab. You probably visited after he put the theme online...

It has a vacuum fluorescent display feel to it, what with the horizontal filaments glowing softly underneath the details. Well done.

It looks so nice...except for all the red. Very well done...please do a more subtle version without all the red on black.

From what I understand, the inspiration to this theme came from the watch benign was kind enough to show us. So all red on black is what this theme is about really

I like the red a lot. The "brass" is a little distracting and there are a few small bits that have some bugs.
For example:
Download dialog in Firefox, text on buttons is unreadable.
In certain dialogs, there is a visible square around the highlighted button.
Definitely original!
