I'm looking for some troubleshooting advice for a network printing issue I'm having.

I have a U.S. Robotics wireless router with a USB print server (model USR 5461). I have a PowerBook with 10.4.4 and my wife has a Sony Vaio running Windows XP Home Edition. Our printer is a Brother HL-1440 and it is plugged into the USB port on the router

My wife's Vaio has no problem printing wirelessly to the printer. My PowerBook, on the other hand, exhibits some strange behavior. When I initially set up the printer on the laptop, I can print fine. Once my wife has printed at least one document, I can no longer print from the PowerBook. The fix requires me to reload the firmware (which is the latest and greatest) on the router, reboot the router and set up the printer again on my PowerBook. All is well until the Vaio prints again.

Where do I start troubleshooting?

Thanks in advance.
