8th post down in the inital Macthemes contest thread

http://forums.macnn.com/showthread.p...es#post1861213

Considering that linked image in my post, I think ProLCD looks a bit like my theme.

which brings me to my next point, if you're interested in making desktops or icons for release drop me a pm.

What is a ".zip-link.zip" file? I've been meaning to ask the author of Safaricon what a ".gz-link" file is, as well...

I recall a screenshot of this theme in this forum long before ProLCD appeared at the MacThemes contest. Lay off. LCD isn't exactly a unique concept. It's been done and overdone and will yet be done again in thousands of variations for other apps on other platforms. It wasn't invented with ProLCD. And it wasn't invented with that ugly DeviantArt theme someone mentioned in another thread.

It's just the way the auto-generated .Mac filesharing pages link to these files - they add "-link.[extension]" to the end of each filename.

Not exactly sure why; the downloaded file doesn't have that at the end.
Hi. Nice to see you. You look lovely.

Though this things looks a lot like ProLCD (which isn't a very nice theme, in my opinion), this thing is a lot better, it has a cleaner (think on how apple's Aqua changed from 10.1 to 10.2) more Pro look. My only complaint would be that the green lcd colour doesn't work with a lot of desktops, and that it propably would be very nice with a blue backlit lcd style (like networkshadow (i think it was him at least) talked about in the ProLCD thread (i think it was that thread at least)).

Good luck!

IMHO, before I used this, the apple menu icon would need to be better defined. That is really my only aesthetic problem with it for now.

Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast!

It's looking very nice but I think there's some kind of bug in the scroll bars, and it desperately needs a safari skin.
Oh and it compliments the Rev2 folders very nicely!
