I've had this problem for a long time, in which when sorting my songs by artist on my 5G iPod Video 30GB, several artists appear multiple times in a row, with the exact same name. Even more perplexing is the fact that iTunes identifies only 1 true artist (the way it should be). Also, each Artist listing contains the same exact albums and songs, so it seems like there is something wrong with the song database that's causing several indices to point to the same place. It's also completely random, some Artists occur only once like they should, while others, Led Zeppelin for example, show about 8 or 9 occurrences. Any ideas on how I can fix this?
