Does anyone think it's a little odd they're chroma-keying in their own set?

I originally thought it was actually a clever stopgap while they built a new set or something, but I'm pretty sure they've been doing it for months now.

Morgan also wasn't wearing makeup on a recent episode, which reminded me of TechTV, where near the end they fired all the hair stylists to save money.

Okay. Let's elect the worst X-Play bit of all time. There are many contenders, but only one shall lose big.

I'll start the nomination process with the one where Adam is in a bathroom stall, wearing a trenchcoat, and monkey spanking it with a DS.

I haven't watched in a long time (since I got rid of cable channels to save money), but I was never fond of their "Drunk Link" character. Goofy cartoon Link would be OK if they did it ("Well excuuuuuuuuse me, Princess!"), but I really don't think they should tarnish such an iconic character by having him drunk and carrying around a bottle.

Other than that, I have more fond memories of their good skits: Crazy Adam, Old man Grimgravy, Games that make me feel funny, etc.

And I saw Morgan Webb IRL at Maker Faire last month, which was awesome.

I wonder how much the show's budget decreased after G4TV was dropped by DirecTV back in November.

Slick shoes?! Are you crazy?!

Don't get me wrong. They nail it every now and then. I actually watched The Passion of the Christ 2: Judgement Day multiple times (high point: Jesus shoots someone, raises them from the dead, and then shoots them again). The Resident Evil IV routine also has some fond memories, especially since when my girlfriend was playing it I couldn't stop myself from saying "what-a-ya buyin?" over and over.

OTOH, they miss so often I give them five seconds to sell me or I TiVo past it. Life's too frigging short.
