This is one of the best things I've ever heard this woman say...proves that she's

a) Crazy

b) Hypocrite and liar when she starts feeding her face again

Has anyone noticed how this naive anti-war mentality seems to be isolated to Baby Boomers like Sheehan? Her attitudes are not making much headway into today's youth culture, and certainly Generation X want nothing to do with the boomer mentality.

So if there's 2,700 of them, they each have to fast for 3.24 hours per year.

3.24 hours without food (or, more precisely, cake) - I'm impressed!

One starving; the other binging.

There are worse things than giving up food for a couple months (yes, the article quotes Cindy as saying "throughout the summer", not until the troops come home.) for a cause that you believe in. Not that I agree with bringing the troops home now, but I don't think she's a loon for doing this; the media is following it after all.

And the conservatives are getting their panties in a wad, so it must be somewhat of a good thing.

I have it on fairly good authority she was a media whore long before that.

FWIW this was from a commie activist type who had the opportunity to help her out on "tour", she considers herself lucky to have declined.

You know, as much as Sheehan might be off her rocker, at least she is really standing up for what she believes in. I doubt many politicians in this country would be willing to make personal sacrifices for what they believe is right, much less many other activists. You have to be somewhat impressed by her.

Not really. She's doing nothing to advance any cause except her own publicity. Whether she thinks she's doing more is debatable, but I've known too many crazy people to be impressed by one going out and yelling a lot.

Did you see where now Sheehan has amended her hunger strike? Now she's not fasting until the end of the war...she's only fasting until September 1st.

While she is dying, I hope that wild animals rip her to pieces and chew on her organs while she watches. No, I wasn't thinking along those lines... I was just going for a painful wish for Michael Moore because it is important to not be that one guy not in step with the others.

I just wanted to hang with the Republicans for once, because I don't think they accept me.
