I am inexperienced at tax preparation and have hired it out in the past. I want to take over & do my own, in conjunction with starting my new business. I heard TurboTax is good, and answers tax questions as well as simply filling forms. Also, I'm likely to buy Microsoft Office 2000 for the Mac, since I will need business software. Does Office/Mac have tax software included? Is this big, expensive program overkill for a small business? Your feedback and experiences will be greatly appreciated!

i think it's good for a small business. no tax preparation module, though. look to Intuit.

Good luck. Depending on the complexity of your return, you might not be able to use an online service. Depletion and AMT (alternative minimum tax) are rarely handled well with these services. If you're simply entering W-2s and some various flavors of 1099 (1099-MISC, 1099-INT, 1099-DIV, etc.), any of these services will be more than adequate.
