You know how you can assign the F-keys to spells in Diablo II? Of course. Well, I use my 12" PowerBook Rev. C to run Diablo II, but when in the game, even in full screen mode, buttons like F1 and F2 still darken and brighten the screen, respectively. Same goes with the keys for volume control, number lock, etc. Is there any way around this?

yup... in game, hit escape, then go to options, then controls. You can change all your keys here

I for one have all of my skills along Q-W-E-R-T::A-S-D-F-G-H::Z-X-C-V-B

much easier to get to all buttons than a clumsy row across the top! This is especially useful for me since I like necros and pallies.... both of which have lots of useful "utility" skills (for example, it's great to be able to quick switch to cleansing or salvation or meditation or redemption as the need arises, and still have plenty of room for my "primary" abilities.
